Strengthening of AI (No.1) / AB (No.2) Docks and Fender Installation at AB (No.2) and CD (No 3) Docks

Scope of Work  : 

  1. Cutting the quay crane bearing beams and floors in the 180 m section of the AB (No. 1) dock with a rope system (thickness 90 – 120 cm) and installing the resulting reinforced concrete  blocks as breakwater reinforcement – 1,052.68 cu.m (2,631.70 tons)

  2. Driving steel pipe piles and pouring reinforced concrete inside the piles

    2.a. Driving steel pipe piles: Ø32″” (812.80 mm),  t=14 mm, 66 no’s piles, total length 1,574.80 m

    2.b. Welding joints of steel pipe piles: Ø32″” (812.80 mm),  t=14 mm, 116 nos

    2.c. Painting steel pipe piles, 1,516.00 sq.m

  3. Supply and installation of HDPE protective jacketing system at splash zones of existing steel pipe piles – 40 no’s of piles, 283.45 sq.m jacketing

  4. Construction of new bearing reinforced concrete beams and slab (t = 900.00 mm) for the dock crane

    4.a. C30/37 ready-mixed concrete, 1,472.82 cu.m; reinforcement, 188.35 tons

    4.b. Formwork, 2,046.64 sq.m

  5. Construction of dock pavement (2,235.31 sq.m) – (C30/37 ready-mixed concrete, 447,75 cu.m; steel mesh, 17.22 tons)

  6. Strengthening of the reinforced concrete structure under AI (No.1), AB (No.2) and CD (No.3) docks (6,229.92 sq.m)

    6.a. Demolish rf concrete surface and prepare for repair mortar application, 7,674.37 sq.m

    6.b. Cement based, high-strength special repair mortar, 1,425,000.00 kgs

    6.c. Drilling rf concrete and fixing rf steel anchors using epoxy, 79,532.00 nos

    6.d. Application of concrete surface protection material, 5,726.39 sq.m

   7. Dismantling existing fenders and installation of new panel fender system, 46.00 sets
